5 Things I Can’t Live Without.

5 thing i love

5 Things I Can’t Live Without.

Sunglasses. Denver averages 300 days of sunshine a year. Surprised? Even on a cloudy day I can be seen wearing my shades. I buy maybe 6 pairs of sunglasses a year. These are currently my favorite pair. Until I crush them in the bottom of my purse.

iPhone. I love that I can do anything one this phone. But mostly, I love my playlists. Some days I spend an hour on the treadmill with the Christian Rock playlist. Other days Pitbull is needed.

Softlips Vanilla Chapstick. Besides 300 days of sunshine, Denver is very dry. Chapstick is a must year around! ‘Enough said.

Sony a290 DSLR. I take a lot of phones on my iPhone now. It takes photos almost as good as my DSLR. And, I am lazy; the iPhone is lighter and easier to carry. But I still love my camera.

Acupuncture. Some women get a massage to relax; I get acupuncture. It keeps my hormones harmonious, and clears my sinuses. I feel so relaxed after, and I get acupuncture every 3 weeks. My acupuncturist took that picture of me with needles in my face…there are also some in my feet, arms & hands.

What are the 5 things you can’t live without?

Lol, I’ve always wanted to do something like this, but then I’m like, “Wait, how do I even take a picture of both my ‘cameras’!?” 😛

What got you interested in acupuncture? I’m curious but intimidated. 😉

Found your blog on the Bloggy Moms April link up and thought I’d drop by! Hope you’re having a great Monday!

Lindsay, thanks for stopping by my blog! I used my iPod to take the picture 😉

I got interested in acupuncture after I was having hormonal issues (basically, my uterus wasn’t doing its job every month); and the pills the doctor prescribed made me drive-off-a-bridge-crazy. If you’re bored you can read all about the specifics here. But, I researched natural alternatives and came up with acupuncture. I would tell anyone with hormonal issues to give it a try before popping another pill that could have harmful side effects.

      • Ooh! Great info! I have a friend who is having similar issues who might really be helped by this kind of treatment! Thanks for being so open about things, I think honesty is such a powerful tool. ❤

        Hope it helps!

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog through Bloggy Moms. I have always been curious about acupuncture, but have never tried it. I will have to give it a try should I need an alternative treatment to something. I don’t like taking pills if it’s not absolutely necessary.

Yeah, same here with the pills. I would recommend trying it. It works for me.
