How do you use Instagram?

I take pictures with my phone or iPad and post them to Instagram, but I am not sure why…Yikes. Don’t hate me.

Don’t get me wrong. I like technology. I argue with hubby that Instagraming/twittering/blogging/texting will help keep me in touch with young technology. In other words, it will keep me from turning into an old man who says he  “ain’t got time for that”. He is lucky when he actually sends a text message correctly.

I think the photo effects are cool.

I like to follow cool and creative people.

It is a social network with little pressure to post. Obviously I am not very social. I have only 5 followers. I follow 19 photographers. {sigh}

Or, maybe it’s just so I can document my whole 82 photos for Project Life.

So, how do you use Instagram? Oh, yeah, you can follow me on Instagram (link to the right). I could use the followers.

Sometimes my 11-year-old comes home and shows me a video on YouTube that is so funny you cry! Some days that is all you need.

December Daily | Thirteen

When I started December Daily this year I was committed to posting every day…man, that is harder than I thought! Some days in December are just ordinary days with little exciting to document…

So, for day thirteen I’ll show you my layouts so far. I use a digital 8.5 x 11 format, then I can order prints from Winkflash and put into an album. This is the double page view (left page, right page). I tend to keep my layouts simple, focusing on journaling and the photos. Enjoy!

First Day of School Layouts

I survived the first week of the kids going back to school! But of course, they didn’t get any homework. I suspect next week they will get down to business.

Yesterday we went to the Pro Shop and ordered Alex’s competitive figure skates and blades. She can hardly wait for them to come in. We took my mother-in-law out for her birthday dinner last night. She chose Rib City. They have serious ribs there. We all had melt-in-your-mouth-no-need-for-sauce-ribs. But I am a sucker for sauces… This is the one restaurant that I KNOW my kids will eat well at. Parker (4-years-old) complained that her rib basket didn’t have enough ribs in it. I think she could eat a whole 1/2 rack by herself!

Today we are being lazy, doing laundry and watching Back to the Future (I, II, & III) on cable. I had such a crush on Michael J. Fox…and if you were a teenager in the 80s, you did too! Admit it.
